The Star Festival “Tanabata Wish” is returning to the Japanese Village, Ayutthaya!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Legend of Tanabata (\u4e03\u5915): Tanabata originates from a deeply romantic legend of “Princess Orihime (the Weaver Princess)” and “Hikoboshi (the Cowherd)”. Separated by the Heavenly River (Amanogawa\/The Milky Way), their profound love allows them to cross a bridge formed by a flock of magpies to reunite just once a year\u2014on the night of July 7th. This magical night is celebrated by the Japanese as a night of miracles and destiny, where people write their wishes on colorful Tanzaku to send their hearts’ desires up to the stars.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Let’s learn the history of Thai-Japanese relations and indulge in the heartwarming atmosphere of star wishing throughout this July.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For visitors exploring the Japanese Village from July 1st \u2013 24th, 2026: Receive a complimentary “Tanzaku” (\u77ed\u518a) to write down your dreams and hang them on bamboo branches, following Japanese tradition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
