     The Opening Ceremony of the Renovated Ayutthaya Historical Study Center, Annex Building and the Japanese Garden & Pavilion at Japanese Village, Ayutthaya on June 23, 2008. HRH. Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn presided over the opening ceremony of the renovated Ayutthaya Historical Study Center , Annex Building and the Japanese Garden & Pavilion at Japanese Village Ayutthaya on Monday, June 23, 2008 The Renovated Ayutthaya Historical Study Center , Annex building. On the occasion of 120 th Anniversary of Thailand-Japan Relations in 2007, Thai-Japanese Association with the support from Ayutthaya Province along with Japanese Chamber of Commerce Bangkok conducted the renovation project of Annex Building , Ayutthaya Historical Study Center which is located in the Japanese Village , Tambol Koh Rian, Pranakorn Sri Ayutthaya Province . The objective is to make the Annex Building one of the information centers about the history of Ayutthaya Kingdom and the Kingdom's relations to other countries including Japan. Japanese Garden & Pavilion. Japanese Garden and Pavilion is one of the activities of Thai-Japanese Association organized in celebration of the Auspicious Occasion of His Majesty the King's 80 th Birthday and to commemorate the 120 th Anniversary of Japan-Thailand Diplomatic Relations. The objective is to enhance the Japanese Village , which is the important historical site that reflects the long-standing and close relations between Japan and Thailand , to be more pleasant place to visit.
